The Skill Development Cell of Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray Arts, Science and Commerce College, Panchavati, Nashik plays a vital role in nurturing and developing students' talents and valuable skills and make them skillful individuals to meet the challenges of the professional world. This cell makes the students more competitive in the job market and increasing their employability and career prospects. It aims to provide hard & soft skills training to the students so they can improve their skills along with their academics. The cell assists students in their journey from Campus to professional life and provides them with access to current & industry relevant programs. The goal of skill development cell is to equip students with essential skills that are in high demand by employers. These skills can range from technical and vocational skills to soft skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and critical thinking. By offering this program, the SDC aims to empower students and make them job-ready, increasing their chances of securing suitable employment after graduation

TThis cell plans and organizes various skill development programs, training sessions, and workshops which help the students to acquire industry-relevant skills and bridge the gap between academic education and practical requirements.

The activities and program conduct by Skill Development Cell include:

• Soft Skills Development: Conducting sessions on communication skills, interpersonal skills, time management, presentation skills, and other skills that are crucial for professional success.
• Entrepreneurship Development: Encouraging students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset by offering guidance on business plan development, market research, funding opportunities, and networking.
• Training Programs: Organizing training sessions and workshops on specific technical skills, software proficiency, and industry-specific tools to enhance students' expertise in their respective fields.
• Career Guidance and Placement Support: Assisting students with career counseling, resume building, interview preparation, and facilitating campus placements by inviting companies for recruitment drives.
