Bhartiy Vidya Bhavan Free Computer Course
The department was established in Aug 2011 With the collaboration with Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray arts,
science and commerce college Nashik and valuable guidance from Honorable Principal Dr. B. S. Jagdale Sir,
we offer value added IT training to under privileged students, under the flagship of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
Features of the Department:

- ICT classroom with an interactive whiteboard for teaching & learning.
- Fully equipped computer laboratory.
- Workshops, seminars, webinars and conferences are organized by the department.
- An initiative to motivate and empower students with technical skills and enhance their employability
across Pan India.
Objectives
- To improve the quality of education
- To become competent and confident in web site development.
- To increase the abilities and interests of the students in the technology.
- To improve the appropriate personal skills of the students that are essential for independent
learning based around ICT.
- To develop the potential to their fullest by facilitating the acquisition of website design
knowledge.
- To prepare the learners for the society of tomorrow by making them adaptable users of ICT
who have the necessary openness and flexibility of mind to be able to adjust to future changes
in the technology.
Duration of the course: -
- 1. The duration of the course shall be of 6 months.
- 2. Each working day shall consist of 6 hours of teaching in computer lab.
- 3. Four quizzes will be conducted during the course period.
- 4. One assignment per will be given to the students.
- 5. Feedback of the course will be collected at the end of the course.
- 6. The Course Timings will be 10.00 am to 4.00 pm
Eligibility for admission: -
1.Minimum qualification:
a) The students of minimum XII Std. or equivalent examination.
b) Graduate or postgraduate student from any faculty
2. Age Limit: 18 Years onwards
3. Intake Capacity: 120 Students per batch
4. No.of batches per year: 02
Course fee:
There is No registration fee for this course for all.
Medium of instruction and examination:
Course will be taught Marathi or English and question papers shall be set in Marathi or English.
Structure of certificate course:
Certificate course in Information and Communication Technology shall be of 100 marks as follows:

Eligibility for appearing at certificate course:
Student should keep the terms with at least 75% attendance. He/she should complete all the quizzes and assignment that are expected in all parts of the syllabus. Final examination is mandatory for all
the students
Final examination:
A Final examination will be held at the end of the course which shall be called “Final Examination”.
This examination will be of 50 marks. There shall be final examination conducted at the end of the
Course.
Standard of passing:
A student must obtain 50% aggregate marks together in project and assignment
A student must obtain 50% of marks in Final examination.
Award of class:
Class will be awarded to the students at the end of the course based on aggregate marks
