Gandhian studies Centre 2021-22

Gandhian studies Centre has been functioning since 2013-14 under the Department of History with a grant from UGC. Under this course, various activities such as study tours, oratory competitions, essay competitions, cleaning campaigns, murals based on various elements of Gandhiji's life work were organized for the students.

1) International E-Conference :

On the occasion of the Golden Jubilee year of Arts, Science and Commerce College Panchavati, Nasik Gandhian Study Center of LVH College organized A Three Day International E- Conference on “Platinum Jubilee of Indian Independence: Relevance of Gandhian Ideology”

2) Grand successful Online International Quiz competition

On the occasion of the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, an International Quiz competition on a commemoration of his work was organized on 30th January 2022 based on his life. Around 2802 students from various countries like USA, Netherlands, Malaysia, Shrilanka ,UK, and from different states of India like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, Bengal, Silvassa, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Div-Daman, Delhi etc. participated in this quiz.

3) Gandhi Vichar Sanskar Pariksha

Gandhian Studies Center of Loknete Venkatrao Hiray College Panchavati and Gandhi Research Foundation, Jalgaon successfully organized Gandhi Vichar Sanskar Pariksha on 11/02/2022 under the guidance of Principal Dr. B.S. Jagdale. Number of students from various departments of the college participated in this examination. The examination was conducted under the planning of Coordinator of Gandhian Studies Center and Head of History Department Dr. Pragati Marakwar.

4) Group Reading and Book Distribution

The students, coordinator and teachers of Gandhian studies Centre visited to Zilla parishad School of jategaon and took Group reading of various books based on Gandhiji's philosophy. The above books were distributed among the students.
