Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’s, Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray, Arts, Science & Commerce College, Nashik being on the path of Innovation, Incubation & Linkages provide a great input for industries in Nashik as well as outside the Nashik for a start-up. LVH INNOFEST-2023 competition finds out the new norms towards innovative ideas and give impetus to the innovators to think about real-world problems that give immediate solutions. Center for Innovation, Incubation and Enterprise (CIIE) Cell of our college is organizing Innofest-2023 for providing platform to present innovations in the form of Project/ Models and Posters in various fields. The innovation festival is our idea generation engine for networking because we bring together the young talent from different organizations. The innovation festival engages scholars, inventors and innovators in a dialogue about the critical role invention and innovation play in our society. Innovation festivals are transformative events & provide the opportunity to share ideas. Sharing a room with like-minded people is the surest way to spark new ideas. In the rapidly changing world of technology, it is even more important to have connections to the people making the latest breakthroughs. Attending, exhibiting and sponsoring are ways to participate in an innovation festival and all have their own benefits. We are super excited to announce that we are organizing LVH INNOFEST-2023 which is big, exciting and very unique, where we invite greatest and most innovative minds from the streams of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Arts and Humanities, Commerce, Vocational units, Science and Technology, and get them to tackle with real world problems together in a series of sprints.

महात्मा गांधी विद्यामंदिर संचलित लोकनेते व्यंकटराव हिरे कला, विज्ञान व वाणिज्य महाविद्यालय पंचवटी, नाशिक. महाविद्यालयात संस्थेचे संवर्धक लोकनेते व्यंकटराव हिरे यांच्या नावाने “लोकनेते व्यंकटराव हिरे इनोफेस्ट -२०२४” हि स्पर्धा बुधवार, दिनांक - २४/०४/२०२४ रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आली आहे. लोकनेते व्यंकटराव हिरे इनोफेस्ट - २०२४ या नवकल्पनावर आधारित पोस्टर व प्रोजेक्टर स्पर्धेचे आयोजन केलेले आहे. विविध महाविद्यालयातील विद्यार्थी नवकल्पनांवर विविध विषयाच्या अनुषंगाने आपले पोस्टर/ प्रोजेक्टर / मॉडेलस वापरून प्रजेन्टेशन करणार आहेत. त्यात पुढील विषय स्पर्धेच्या आयोजनासाठी घेण्यात आली आहेत त्यात कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता आणि ऑटोमेशन, भारतीय ज्ञान प्रणाली, पर्यावरण, आरोग्य आणि निरोगीपणा, शाश्वत विकास, हरीत ऊर्जा, भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था, सायबर सुरक्षा, डिजिटल मार्केटिंग आणि सरकारी धोरणे अशा विविध विषयावर स्पर्धेचे आयोजन केलेले आहे. तरी विद्यार्थ्यांनी या विषयावर आपले सादरीकरण करून बक्षिसे मिळविण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करावेत. सदर कार्यक्रमाचे उद्घघाटन महात्मा गांधी विद्यामंदीर संस्थेच्या मान्यवरांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली आयोजित करण्यात आले आहे. स्पर्धेच्या विषयाच्या अनुषंगाने प्रथम तीन क्रमांकासाठी अनुक्रमे अकरा हजार, सात हजार व पाच हजार रोख व विद्याशाखा निहाय एकूण तीस पारितोषिके व प्रमाणपत्र देऊन गौरविण्यात येणार आहेत. या स्पर्धेत भाग घेऊ इच्छिणाऱ्या स्पर्धकांनी स्पर्धा समन्वयक यांच्याशी ७५८८१३३२४४ व ८४८५८११७६७ या भ्रमणध्वनी क्रमांकावर जास्तीत जास्त स्पर्धक विद्यार्थ्यानी संपर्क साधावा, असे आवाहन समन्वयक डॉ. अपूर्व हिरे, महाविद्यालय विकास समितीच्या अध्यक्षा डॉ. योगिता हिरे , महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. बी. एस. जगदाळे व इनोफेस्टचे स्पर्धा समन्वयक डॉ. रेशम भल्ला यांनी केले आहे.
LVH INNOFEST 2022
Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’s Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray, Arts Science & Commerce College was established in the year 1971 and celebrating Golden Jubilee year. Therefore, on the occasion of golden jubilee year of the college, the college has organized various national and state level competitions to promote the scientific and artistic talent of the students. Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray Innofest – 2022, competition was conducted in 2 categories – University level posters, projects and models on 24th April 2022. This competition was organized for the students of all Senior colleges for all faculties and was in the form of project and poster competition for science and technology, commerce and management, Humanities, Inter-disciplinary Faculties.
The program was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of the Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University Dr. Nitin Karamalkar. Former Vice-Chancellors of Nanded and Lucknow University, Dr. S. B. Nimse, Hon. Vice-Chancellor of Balaji University, Pune, Dr. Gangadhar Shirude, Registrar, SPPU, Dr. Prafulla Pawar, Dean Science and Technology, SPPU, Dr. Manohar Chaskar, Dean Commerce and Management, SPPU, Dr. Parag Kalkar, Vice President, D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, Dr. Anil Khedkar, Dr. Ashok Joshi consented to be the honorable guests for the inauguration of LVH INNOFEST 2022. Honorable Dr. Prashant Hiray-Secretary Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir presided over the inaugural programme. On this occasion, Hon. Dr. Apoorva Hiray- Coordinator MGV, Dr. V. S. More- Joint Secretary, MGV and Principal, Dr. B. S. Jagdale were also present.
The college took the initiative to start “LVH INNOFEST 2022” in the name of Late Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray. This innofest provided a platform to students to present their innovative ideas in science and technology, commerce and management as well as humanities and other disciplines to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. A variety of nations today are working within the bounds of sustainable development for a more justice, peaceful, resilient and prosperous society. Therefore, It is the responsibility of higher education institutions to contribute to the development of society and to meet new challenges. Actions are required to develop the highly educated sector to be able to develop self-empowerment. Those who are independent and self-reliant and contribute to society not only through civic duties but also through their ideas that can make life livable for the common man. For this purpose, Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray Mahavidyalaya organized Innofest-2022. There was a great turnout for the competition. 460 students came up with new ideas. Projects that can prove to be useful to the upcoming future generations addressed issues such as alternate sources of energy, water management, transportation, sewage management, solid waste management, aviation, power and quality of human life where innovations can be used in future generations. Total Cash Prizes of Rs. 51,000/- was given to the winners. Shubham Ashok Bhosle and team won the first prize of Rs. 11000 and trophy in project category in the senior college. Garima D. Salunke and team won award of Rs. 7000/- and Deore Shreya Vinod and team won award of Rs. 5000/- for the second and third position respectively. In campaign with poster presentation, Khan Rehana and team won the first prize of Rs. 7100/- while Sawant Prachi Rajesh and team won prize of Rs. 5100/- and Masam Narshihlal Vasami and team won prize of Rs. 2100/- for second and third position respectively. In all Faculty Projects', Ahire Shubham Vijay and team won first prize of Rs. 3100/- While Pritam Patkar and team won Rs. 2100/-, Pawar Devyani Vilas and team won Rs. 1100/- and Mrunal Mote and team won Rs. 500/- for second, third and fourth position respectively. In the 'Science and Technology Poster Presentation' category, Khan Rehana and team won the first prize of Rs.1500/- while Khan Rukhsana Rs. 1100/-, Rutika Mahavir Rs. 700/-, Janahvi Chavan Rs. 500/- and their teams won second, third and fourth place respectively. For Commerce and Management, Humanities and Interdisciplinary poster presentation category, Masam Narshilal Vasani won the first prize of Rs. 1500/- while Kumkum Pandey Rs. 1100/-, Siddhi Vinod Wankhede Rs. 700/- and their teams won second and third place respectively. Also, the students of Junior from organizing Unit take the part in the competitions. In the Project and poster presentation category, Devendra Hiraman Wagh and his team won the first prize of Rs.1000/-. While Aatish Santosh Sasane Rs 700/-, Manoj Vijay Sonde Rs. 500/- and their teams won second and third place respectively. Pallavi Bhise received the first prize of Rs. 700/- While Vaibhav Gadhe Rs. 500/- Vaishnavi Kale Rs. 400/- and their teams won second and third place respectively.
The prize distribution ceremony concluded under the chairmanship of Joint Secretary, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir, Dr. V S More and former vice-chancellor of Nanded and Lucknow University Dr. S. B. Nimse and prizes were distributed by their auspicious hands. On this occasion, Dr. Nimse expressed his opinion that in the current education system, it is the need of the hour for teachers to impart the required knowledge to the students and create a competent youth for tomorrow. On the occasion of prize distribution ceremony principal of the college Dr. B S Jagdale welcome the dignitaries on the dais and presented the brief report of Institution. While the coordinator Dr. V. R. Nikam presented the Report of the program LVH INNOFEST 2022. Dr. Rakesh Patil gave the brief introduction of the honorable guests and also anchored the session and Dr. Resham Bhalla proposed vote of thanks. Coordinator Dr. V. R. Nikam, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Mrunal Bharadwaj, Dr. Vinit Rakibe, Dr. Santosh Chobe, Dr. S. D. Patil, all teaching and non-teaching staff worked hard for the program a success. Important Instructions to the Participants:
The competition is open for the bonafide Graduate, Post Graduate & Research students of all University Departments and Senior Colleges affiliated to SPPU, Pune.
- Selection of ideas/innovations will be based on novelty, social applicability, environment friendliness, user-friendliness and comparative advantages over the existing similar technologies.
- Each Team should have maximum 05 participants for the Project Competition.
- Each team should have maximum 02 participants for Poster Competition.
- Language of Presentation: Marathi / Hindi / English
- Every student will get maximum ten minutes for presentation.
- The decision of Judges will be final and binding.
- The participants are required to complete “Registration or before 21 st April 2023, 5 pm through the Google form link given below.
- The participant should upload the screenshot of the payment filling the registration form on WhatsApp group.
- Please ensure the form is filled with your full name and name of the Institute.
- A copy of your college ID (for graduates & postgraduates) must also be uploaded in the Google form for verification purposes.
- All the participants should prepare their Project/ Poster work must be original.
- Each team presenting Project / Poster should submit the copyright form along with the registration form.
- The 2m x 2m space will be provided for assembling the project with water and electric connections if necessary.
- Participants are allowed to participate either in Project or Poster competition.
- A certificate of participation will be awarded to each participant.
- Name(s) and college identity should not be displayed on the project/poster competition.
- The last date of registration and submission of the Project or Model is 20 th April 2023.
- The name of short-listed project/poster will be communicated individually by email / telephonically to the respective team on or before 21 st April 2023.
- The expenses of food and accommodation are not included in the registration fees and should be borne by the participant.
- The entry fees for each team Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) for Project Presentation.
- The entry fees for each team Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) for Poster Presentation.
